History & Background

We are passionate about creating quality groomed winter trails. With 20+ years grooming experience, and a knack for metal fabrication, Nick is constantly innovating, modifying and testing ways to groom snow more efficiently. After receiving much interest in his Ski Dolly design, First Tracks Fabrication LLC was established in 2024 to market and promote the patent pending Ski Dolly grooming accessory.

The Ski Dolly came about after spending way too much time wrenching on grooming snowmobiles to get them setup properly for towing groomers. Nick welded up the first Ski Dolly in his garage nearly a decade ago. After years of testing and modifications, the design has proven to be effective.

Nick works full time with Teton Valley Trails and Pathways in Teton Valley, Idaho. The organization regularly grooms six different trail systems with a large fleet of snowmobiles and volunteers, who all use the Hitch Draggin'. They just plain work!
